Looking fwd reading your report / blog / post about parsley ice cream in Olsztyn, and I am not kidding! Great report, travelled with you.
The taste of ice cream is very unusual indeed. I hope we can update this report with my experience after testing of parsley ice cream.
Well, you can add your experience in the comments. I had basil cake few times in a restaurant in my home town. Flavorsome indeed!
For me the most impressive part is that in mid-August there are no departures from SKP between 20.45 and 04.30.
I guess because the airport capicity is 6 million passengers per year. So there is enough space during the day for these foreign airlines to plan their flights and no airline planned it's flight between that time, because it's unconvienient for them i think. Wizzair always has 4 departing flights between 6-7 a clock in the morning and after 3 rotaitions these planes come back around 12 clock midnight and these planes will stand for the next 6-7 hours on the ground. In August there were most day charters during that period to Antalya,Bodrum and Hurghada but for the rest of the year except june, july, august and september this is very normal for SKP.
That's why SKP needs to work with some other airlines to launch afternoon flights. If they leave Europe at around 17.00 then they will leave from SKP around 20.00. I guess its'difficult with Wizz being absolutely dominant there.
aw my, 175MDK for a cappuccino? that's like 3 euros. That is airport prices for you...
Is crazy Even one burek like 5 euros Water 2 euros Is more expensive than in jfk new tork airport To much coruption
1 ham-cheese croissant at Belgrade Airport (Hleb i Kifle) = 530 rsd…….
Nice report! I frequently visit Skopje, and my last visit was also with LOT. I also share your mix of amazement and disgust with the Skopje 2014 project. A close acquiantance of mine lives in one of these buildings that were "coverted" from modernist to classisistic kitsch so I could see the "quality" of the work from close by. Btw. there is a minor error in the text - the airport is to the SE of the city, not SW.
Thank you for pointing out this error.
Very nice report, only Skopje Airport is to the southeast of the city, not southwest as in report. But that's a minor mistake. Thank you for all the details of the flight, almost traveled from my chair.
Thank you for your vigilant reading of this report and correcting mistake.
funny how nobody comments on the info that the flights were full. Imagine the troll brigade if they werent :D
How did you get the bus from Skopje airport to the city center ? Where did you buy the ticket in the terminal ? And how did you get the bus in Skopje city center ? what was the price ? thanks.
You can buy a ticker at a counter at the airport on a bus. For proces and timetable please refer to information on airport website. http://skp.airports.com.mk/en-EN/to-from-the-airport/page/bus
